Unlike their earliest counterparts, modern-day mirrors are made by adding a reflective coating (usually a thin layer of aluminium or silver) to the back of a plate of glass.
In addition, the use of mirrors in architectural design has grown over the years. From being confined to above the bathroom sink to lining the exterior of commercial buildings.

If you are looking to use mirrors in an area that has a high risk of human impact, we recommend that you choose to have the optional safety vinyl backing added.
Also mist-free mirrors can be achieved by using a specially designed heating pad that fits at the back of the mirror.
